About FIRM EV

From switchboards to charge points

FIRM HEC has spent years inside Brisbane switchboards — upgrading old fuse boards, rewiring Queenslanders, and fitting out new builds. When customers started asking "can you also put in my EV charger?", the answer was already a yes; we just formalised it as FIRM EV.

That background matters more than it sounds. A charger is only as good as the circuit and switchboard behind it. We're not a charger-only installer bolting a unit onto whatever capacity happens to be free — we assess the whole electrical picture first, the same way we would for any other major appliance.

Configuration of smart charging so your car draws from rooftop solar generation first, with grid power only used to top up when needed. Ideal for homes already running solar or considering it.
